HI CL. If I am looking for those first I check ebay. then I check Amazon.com and go with the least expensive choice. I do not do mail in clubs anymore. I can do better other places. used book stores. and thrift stores for just something to read. or the library
Actually, we do all of the above. When it comes to books, before I buy one I like to read the back, the initial "bragging" pages where the publisher has posted what others have said about the book and possibly the first page of the story. Because of this, I buy my books from local sources. CDs or Music, I buy online or locally - depends on my mood when I am shopping. LOL. DVDs - My wife belongs to a Disney Club for Disney Movies. Of course this does not include other movie le, so we buy those at Amazon or locally depending on price and how badly we want the movie. In most cases the advantages to online can be price. It can also be the advantage for buying locally. Other advantages can be that buying locally gives quicker satisfaction. When it comes to music, the best advantage to buying on line is that you can buy ONE tune and not have to buy the entire album

Hi Chicago Lady, We prefer the bookstores it's one of our date night favorites. It gets us out of the house, is usually after a nice meal and you leave the store with books in hand, no waiting. Also and sort of off topic we also frequent a number of used book stores, great adventure and bargains as well
I buy the majority of my books through Amazon, and if I can not get it their I go to the local Half Price Books. I do not buy CDs anymore I either buy itunes from Apple or use my Pepsi points on mp3s from Amazon. I rarely watch movies, so I do not buy them rather I have a Netflix subscription
I buy from a mail - in club, because they have the "large print books", it also is very convenient for me
I search in Internet, in official sites of what I want, I choose my desired, remmeber information of that thing, then go to Local store and buy it
